Photoshop for Photographers: From Capture to Print

This two evening class will guide both new and experienced Photoshop users on how to setup a digital darkroom workflow to produce stunning images by replicating traditional darkroom techniques on the computer. Starting with bringing photographs into Photoshop thru Adobe Camera Raw, I will demonstrate each step of the process through making the final print. I will demystify Curves Adjustments, Layer Masking, Exposure Blending, and Image Stitching in addition to covering:
  • Using a Color Managed Workflow, Color Spaces & Profiles
  • Importing & Adjusting Images in Adobe Camera Raw
  • Cloning and Cleaning Images
  • Adjustment Layers in Photoshop
  • Converting Color Images to B&W
  • Noise Reduction
  • Upsizing an Image, Dowsizing for the Web
  • Adding Borders to an Image
  • Sharpening for Final Print, Sharpening for Web Display
  • Advanced Sharpening Techniques
  • Creating Your Own Photoshop Actions
  • Preparing for the Final Print
