About Enduring Light Photography
"A moment in time experienced, captured, preserved."
Through my photography I desire to capture and portray the beauty of nature that surrounds us, including everything from grand vistas in remote locations to intimate nature details that could be taken in any local patch of woods. When I photograph a scene, my aim is to capture the essense of that moment in time, to share the beauty that I have witnessed. I want my photographs to draw the viewer into the scene so that they feel apart of it.

I still primarily shoot with film using a large format camera in order to retain the finest details in every shot. Every image is developed onto traditional archival photographic paper and framed with complimentary color mats.

Photography is all about light. Radiating from the sun to fill the sky at sunrise, streaking across a field carpeted with wildflowers, light reveals the glory of nature, opening its hidden palette of colors and highlighting its beautiful texture. Light illuminates, penetrates, reveals, and reflects. What would life be like without it?

In the same way, I am also personally grateful for the light of Jesus Christ in my life, who reveals and reflects the goodness and beauty of God and His loving plan for me. I look forward to the day when He will reign as our enduring light.

Isaiah 60:19 - "No longer will you need the sun or moon to give you light, for the LORD your God will be your everlasting light, and He will be your glory."
