The Photographic Process: I have been photographing seriously for over 11 years. Beginning originally with a 35mm camera system, over the years my photographic vision has developed into a desire to produce work of the highest quality. So 8 years ago, I purchased a 4x5 large format camera and have transitioned to using this as my primary tool. More than just a neat, old-fashioned looking camera, large format photography provides the ultimate in detail and resolution not even rivaled by the latest advances in digital technology. The work represented here includes the best of both my 35mm and large format work. The clicking of the shutter does not end the process. After being developed, the film is drum scanned in preparation for printing. Using tradition darkroom techniques on the computer, the image is optimized with a goal of presenting the reality of the moment that was experienced independent of the characteristics of the film used. About the Photographs: With the goal of providing the highest quality work, each image is photographically reproduced onto Fuji Crystal Archive paper to provide smooth tones and bright colors that will not fade for over 70 years. Colored mats, including an option for suede mats, are used in order to highlight the colors in the photographs and create a bold presentation. At the customers request, pure white cotton rag mats may be substituted if desired. The image sizes priced below represent nominal sizes and the actual print dimensions will vary slightly depending film format dimensions to minimize image cropping. Please call if exact size information is desired. The Collector Series sizes of each image are presented as Limited Edition photographs which also carry a Lifetime Guarantee. Each image in the Collector Series is limited to 250 photographs across all sizes 20x24 and larger. After the 250th photograph has been sold, that image is retired and will no longer be available in either the Artist Series or Collector Series. The Collector Series photographs are archivally mounted, matted using acid free materials, and framed behind UV filtering glass. Provided that the photograph is displayed behind glass and out of direct sunlight, the Lifetime Guarantee on the Collector Series photographs includes free replacement of the photograph in the event of any fading or color shifts. Upgrade Options: Premium Mats - include Suedes, Linens, and Premium Rag mats that enhance the vibrance of each photograph Museum Glass - a coated glass that eliminates virtually all reflections (preferred by most Collector Series buyers) Artist Series
