This two day workshop will be held in the gorgeous and rugged Highlands of West Virginia. Centered in the Canaan Valley area at the peak of autumn color, we will be shooting waterfalls, foliage, and beautiful rural scenics throughout the area. Between grand vistas at sunrise and sunset, we will also explore intimate scenes that portray the essence of the wild and wonderful mountains of West Virginia.

As always, in this workshop I will help the participants refine their compositional skills and will assist them in improving their photographic techniques. We will discuss the use of filters for fall foliage and will review which camera settings to use for the highest quality images. I will also take time to demystify the numerous settings on digital cameras and will present an overview of the digital post-processing workflow.

An optional sunset shoot will be offered on the evening of October 7th for all who are able to attend.
